Lohengrin carries the handsome head of his sire, with extremely dense fleece. We use him as a set-up stud for females who are not as dense as they need to be, plus he improves conformation. One of Lohengrin's unique attributes mimics that of his sire, Camilio, this being he throws the color of the dam. He has produced alpacas of all colors which includes varying shades of silver grey. We have pictured some of his grey progeny for you to see. Lohengrin has been shown and has placed every time. He is an aggressive breeder. If you are wanting to add density, improve conformation, or try to pull out the color of the dam, Lohengrin would be our suggestion.  Even though he is older, his genetics are still prepotent, and he continues to be a vigorous breeder.  Due to changes in the alpaca market, his stud fee has been reduced to $1000 .
