Home Run is a white out-of-white full accoyo male from the well-applauded breeding program of Heather’s Acre.  Home Run’s sire, PHA Accoyo Francisco, is perhaps one of the most dense fleeced males I have ever handled, and that is what attracted us to Home Run .  In addition to density, his fiber carries a well-defined, nicely bundled crimp architecture that is beautiful to see. 

    As a juvenile, he took 1st Place and Reserve Champion in his second show ring appearance.  Highly respected Judge Jill MacLeod was very complimentary of his fleece character, commenting that this is what the industry needs to be breeding toward. 

    This show appearance was followed by Home Run’s First Place and Color Champion win in a class of 12 at the Upper Midwest Fleece Show under Judge David Barbosa.  We have since put Home Run to work at the farm, proving himself in the breeding arena!  He remains unproven and we are waiting for his first crias to hit the ground.  We have several females behavior testing positive.
